Community Resources for People Experiencing Homelessness: Short-term Shelter

Shelter, Food, Health Care, and more

If you are in need of housing or shelter tonight, you must contact 211 first.

If you are looking for help, dial 2-1-1 from anywhere in Connecticut.

The Hartford Public Library has a phone dedicated to calling 211
available on a first-come, first-served basis during open library hours.

You will speak with a contact specialist who will help you locate programs and services in your area.
The specialist can help make it easier for you to find information, discover options or deal with a crisis.

If you are having difficulties using the 2-1-1-number, dial 1-800-203-1234.

You can also use the chat service on www.211ct.org.
