Testing

HPL Reopens with Limited Services July 13

Hartford Public Library-Downtown will open for limited services (computer access, self-serve copying/scanning/faxing, Municipal ID, Notary Public, and Passport services by appointment) July 13. More information.

  • All other physical locations will be closed to the public until further notice in response to the ongoing challenges caused by the COVID19 virus.
  • All workshops, outreach, classes, and programs are canceled or moved online
  • For the foreseeable future, the renewal period for borrowed materials will be extended to compensate for late returns. Materials will be automatically renewed and no fines will accrue during the closure.
  • Online resources, such as e-books, databases, and streaming media are available here
