Boundless Resources for Students: What is Boundless?

What is Boundless?

About Boundless

Boundless is the new model for urban learning – an education partnership between Hartford Public Library and Hartford Public Schools that deepens learning opportunities for students and adults.

Meet the Boundless Block Collaboration

How do we bring your children’s dreams closer? Your local Hartford public school and library have joined together to offer a whole bundle of free services that teach, inspire, entertain, and even feed our children, helping them pursue their own interests and build their own futures.

The Boundless Library Card

Every child enrolled in Hartford Public Schools automatically has access to Hartford Public Library resources with their Student ID Number (Lunch number).

Students can use it to:

  • check out physical and e-books
  • access eresources
  • use a computer at the library
  •  get on-line Homework Help with Brainfuse Tutoring service
  • and so much more!

How it Works

Each library branch is assigned schools in its geographic area. HPL’s youth service librarian and designated Boundless liaison from each school in the “Block” work together to develop action plans for the school that meet the needs of the students, teachers, and families.

These plans provide the resources to widen your child’s world including:

• school readiness programs
• coordinated library programs
• programming for students and families
• intervention programs and services
• technology access
• homework help
• online learning
• free museum passes
