Hartford Public Library is a participating location in the CT Passport to Libraries program offered by the CT Library Association.

Visit any of our 6 branches during the month of April to receive a stamp for your program passport card.

Details About the Program

  • You can visit multiple HPL branches and receive a stamp from each.
  • Adults and children are welcome to participate! Anyone with an activity card is eligible for stamps. 
  • There will be a total of four $200 gift cards courtesy of the CT Library Association: one for adults and one for children in each category
    • Categories: 5 or more libraries children/adults & most libraries visited children/adults
  • The program will run from April 1st - April 30th
  • Your completed passport must be submitted by May 10th.
  • Winners will be notified on June 14th and prizes will be sent by mail

How to Participate

  1. Pick up a passport card from any branch location or from your home town library. 
  2. For each CT library you visit, you receive a stamp in your passport.
  3. To be entered in the raffle, visit at least 5 libraries within and/or outside of Hartford for stamps. You can visit as many libraries as you'd like to increase your chances to win!
  4. When complete, bring your card to any library branch. Winners will be selected at the end of April and the prize will be given shortly after.
