October 1920: Celebrating the Centennial of Women's Suffrage

Several local theaters provided their audiences with election results on Election Day, November 2, 1920. Many clubs had gatherings for their members, as well.


Following ratification, many organizations did their part to celebrate the accomplishment, encourage women to register, make them informed voters, and provide them with time to get to the polls.
