Glenda Lorraine Copes Reed (1943 -2013) 

Business Executive

Copes Reed spent her career at Aetna, beginning at the Aetna Foundation and ending as the head of Corporate Real Estate when she retired in 1999. Throughout her career, she advocated for corporate social responsibility. She attended Hartford public schools, earned degrees from Hartford College for Women, Smith College and the University of Connecticut. She was awarded the Smith College Medal in 1982, for living a life that represents the true purpose of a liberal arts education. She was a president of the Hartford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a member of the First Cathedral Church in Bloomfield.

Copes Reed pasó su carrera en Aetna, comenzando en la Fundación Aetna y terminando como directora de Bienes Raíces Corporativos cuando se jubiló en 1999.
